Arrive back in Glasgow after 6 months in California... [more]
Where to start with this. I have just spent the last 6 months living in what could only be described as the best holiday, ever! It's not everyday you get the chance to head state-side and enjoy the peak of Californian summer-time, the start of the wine-making season and the not-so-cold winter. What an experience!
Living in the heart of wine country, just north of San Francisco, I struggled to take it all in. Almost every weekend I was crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, looking over the side to Alcatraz, and the city that played host to 'The Rock' which is still one of my favourite films. I could go on forever.
So, am I glad to be back you ask? Simple answer, No, but I have started to appreciate Scotland that little bit more.
